Torchbearers Ministry

The torchbearer represents all of us as disciples of Christ, those who must be the standard for the nations and direct those who are lost in darkness. The torch represents the light of Christ, leading the way. 

It is our greatest desire to teach our young adults to go forth and boldly proclaim Jesus Christ and him crucified, and for their lives to be a light and example to everyone they meet. 

To instill in them the unadulterated word of God and encourage them in their walk with God. 

To run their race with integrity and never compromise who they are in Christ. 

Philippians 2:15-16 says "that you may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world; holding forth the word of life; that I may rejoice in the day of Christ, that I have not run in vain, neither laboured in vain." 

God gave us this scripture to be our "theme verse", so to speak. This is our goal, that we finish our race with our torches burning bright and lead as many others to Christ as we can.
